Veterans' Day Sale Extended

Veterans Day Sale #Veterans

Veterans Day is around the corner and people are gearing up to commemorate U.S. military veterans. On this well-known American federal holiday, the people who have served in the United States Armed Forces are honored.

In order to celebrate this day, you can treat veterans with a special lunch or reception. Plus, you can gift them something, such as the perfect parody gag gift in the form of a bobble head doll. This doll features President Donald Trump and looks almost similar to him; though not exactly similar.

You can buy this presidential parody bobble head at a discount of 50% on the occasion of Veterans Day. A part of the proceeds from every sale of the Trump bobble head doll goes to the Association of Disabled Veterans of America.

About Veterans Day

As said above, Veterans Day is an official public holiday in the United States. It is celebrated every year on November 11 in order to honor military veterans. Do you know that Veterans Day was not always known by this name?

Veterans Day was originally known as Armistice Day and was renamed as Veterans Day in 1954. This patriotic holiday coincides with other heroic holidays, namely Remembrance Day and Armistice Day, that are celebrated in other nations. These holidays are celebrated to mark the anniversary of the conclusion of World War I.

However, you should not confuse Veterans Day with Memorial Day, which is also a famous U.S. public holiday but falls in May. Memorial Day commemorates people who have died while they were serving in the U.S. military. On the other hand, Veterans Day celebrates the patriotic service provided or the sacrifices made by all veterans of the U.S. military.

There is also Armed Forces Day, another military public holiday, which is also different from Veterans Day. This patriotic holiday also takes place in May and honors the people presently serving in the U.S. military.
